Mobilising global action to create a connected future for all.
I managed a council of 30 leading industry, public sector and civil society organizations to chart a course towards greater collective action and shared responsibility whn it comes to connected devices (e.g., wearables, robots, smart energy grids).
I led ground-breaking research on the biggest governance gaps in the space, and designed and facilitated workshops with our council to identify priority actions to close these gaps.

Empowered Data Societies
Developing practical tools for public sector employees and elected officials – from mayors and ministers to data scientists and service developers – to adapt and build systems that use data in responsible and innovative ways.

In collaboration with a fellow from the Government of Finland, I convened a global community of experts, and oversaw the scoping, co-design, and publication of a first-of-its-kind blueprint for a human-centric approach to data.
I worked with the City of Helsinki’s data science team to build a new technical environment
for treating sensitive personal data with the highest ethical, data protection and cybersecurity standards.
Impact
The City of Helsinki created several tools to enable efficient utilization of extremely sensitive data, and has put them into practice as the city accelerates its use of data to provide more personalized and timely services for its residents and visitors.
Acumen Academy
Unleashing a new generation of social innovators and leaders with the determination and grit to build a more just, inclusive and sustainable world.
I connected the dots between our Fellows program, our accelerators, and our online learning platform that has empowered 500,000 people with the skills of entrepreneurial moral leadership.
I focused on elevating the Acumen brand by amplifying the stories of our global community and creating spaces for social innovators to interact with, learn from, and grow alongside each other.
